Medical Word Game Online — Make Words from a Long Medical Term

Test your vocabulary and reaction speed in this medical word game. Build short words from the letters of a long medical term and race against a virtual opponent.

Choose the word mode, the bot’s difficulty and the race time. Every accepted word earns a point and moves your ambulance closer to the finish line. In “All words” mode the first to reach 15 points wins; in “Medical words only” mode it takes 10 points.

How to play

Make words of 3 letters or more using only the letters of the medical term. Each letter can be used as many times as it appears in the term. Common nouns in the singular count (“lung”, “vein”, “logic”); plurals, names and abbreviations do not. Both American and British spellings are accepted. Type on your keyboard or tap the letters.

  • All words — any English noun counts, including medical ones.
  • Medical words only — only terms from anatomy, physiology, medical specialties, diseases, symptoms, drugs and procedures count.
  • Bot difficulty — easy, medium or hard opponent. The bot plays by the same rules and uses the same letters.
  • Time — 3 minutes, 5 minutes or no time limit.

After the race you will see all your words, the bot’s words and the medical terms you could have made. Medical words are marked with ✚.

Words must have at least 3 letters. Use only the letters of the source term, and each no more often than it appears in it. The same word counts only once. The first to reach the target score wins; if time runs out, the higher score wins.
